Rag Quilt for my new Niece....

I just finished up this rag quilt for my new niece. Rag quilts are so easy to make! For this one, I used five inch blocks and 1/2 inch seams. Usually when making this type of quilt, you would use a whole inch seam, but since this is for a baby, I wanted minimal "ragging". I like the effect, and my dryer was hardly full of "rags"!

Where DOES the time go?

Whew! Way back when I said I was going to be better at sharing creative things I've been doing. Did it happen? NOPE! So I guess I'll attempt again. Truth be told, I'm sick of looking at the Thanksgiving stuff on this page! Currently I'm looking at a huge pile of things I need to sew. A rag quilt for my new niece, a few outfits for EJ, and a purse. What am I doing blogging? I need to sew! Here I go! Wish me luck!
